Description:  KCS 2829 is parked in the KCS yards at Slater, MO on 8-03-2014. This unit is still painted in the grey with red letters and yellow nose stripes scheme. 2829 also has dynamic brakes (at least still has the blister for the exhaust fan) and the early-style grilles near the rear of the unit. Handrails appear to be painted black.

Description:  I went up to Neosho to intercept the southbound CP 2816, to find a dodger working at McElhany. Hes done his work here, and is now going to head back to Neosho to clear up. The power has pulled down to the rear of the train so the brakeman can hang the marker on what is now a northbound move.
