This photo was taken in the storage yard at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Erecting & Machine Shop. Shown here are "the basic facts" of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3646, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during April of 1916 and retired in February of 1954 after 28 years of faithful service. |
